Let’s Go Back to Our Childhood!

I am going to challenge you today.  I want you to leave your comfort zone and go through an activity to open your eyes up to how you live your life.  Let me ask you, do you think you are living your life to the fullest?  My answer would be no, BUT I am on my way to enjoying every moment of my life…even the times that used to bring me stress and fear!

I talk about this a lot, especially with my new book, Strong Woman Stronger Assets coming out in June.  I am always pushing women to value themselves more and value their lives more.  Why?  Because it not only helps us to have better money habits, invest in ourselves, and grow as people, but it can affect those around us too.  By raising our self-worth, we tend to realign our money beliefs and behaviors with our self-worth.  And this can lead to a higher net-worth, earning more money, and getting more satisfaction out of our lives.  Our lives are so precious, so why waste another moment not enjoying it?

I teamed up with a wonderful woman named Kyra, who has a monthly activity membership geared towards having more fun with our lives, not taking ourselves too seriously, remembering the good old times, and embracing the times to come.  She put together an activity for you to do.  So now, I want you to put away your phone, go to a quiet place, and be completely in the present moment as you go through this activity.  Have fun with it, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on it so email me at Jessica.weaver@raymondjames.com.  You can learn more about her membership by going to Monkeybreadlife.com.

Enjoy:

What if this little girl were you a few decades ago? Do you remember these phones? 🙂 Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone. This may date me but, I remember these phones and they were heavy compared to the devices we hold these days. Imagine that you are this little girl listening to her older adult self. She has dreams about what she wants to be when she grows up. You see her potential. What is the one thing you would you tell her about life? Print out the attachment and write what you’d tell her. Snap a photo of your handwriting and keep it in your smartphone to remind yourself of a good piece of advice OR if you don’t have a smartphone, you can email me and I will send it back to you on a cute little postcard to keep on your fridge.
